Howdy Bikers!
This past weekend a couple of us from the Skiershop/Bike Stowe crew made the trip up to the New England Mountain Bike Association Festival in Burke, VT. Attendance was awesome, weather was great, and there was excitement in the air! Lots and lots of vendors were present with plenty of new gear, demo bikes, and more for us to drool over. Take a look at some of the photos from our day at the festival! There was lots to see, so check back for more posts!
- Pedro’s was the first tent we saw, a nice display right out in the parking lot
- Our friends at Giant stole the show. Between their demo fleet of Glory’s right when you walked through the door, this triple tent of trail bikes, and Jeff Lenosky’s trial riding, they had a truly impressive showing!
- Mavic had all of their latest gear on display. Wheels anyone?
- We were thrilled to see our friends at Poc! Thanks for the new stickers and the continued support! (If you need Poc stickers we have a TON)
- Poc showed us some of their latest eyewear and protective gear, lookin’ good!
- Look who we found! Once we found the Stowe Mtn Bike tent, it immediately became our home base.
- And look what they had to show us! The brand new Stowe Mtn Bike trail map! Look closely, you’ll see our ad!
- I could resist riding (aka showing off) one of Skiershop’s brand new Intense Tracer 2 Demo Bikes we built up the other day. Let’s just say it was turning some heads.
- We got to try some Xprezo bikes! I rode the Super D, shown here, which was surprisingly nimble and quick
- Bobbie checking out the Rocky Mountain tent
- mmmmmm…. BBQ
- Here’s Jeff warming up his legs and the crowd. His ability on a bike is matched by his ability to captivate and engage an audience. True professional.
Plenty more coverage to come from the NEMBA Festival in Burke! Look for a couple of videos of Jeff Lenosky demonstrating his talent on Giant’s pop-up trials display, a review of the Xprezo Super D, and much much more! Skiershop and Bike Stowe will definitely be returning next summer, and if all goes as planned, we’ll have a tent of our own!
It’s been a little rainy here in Stowe the past few days, but keep checking back on info about this week’s group rides!

Nice write up people. Keep it coming.
